Students visit the old Essex Street Market guided by gallery manager Jodi Waynberg and exhibit curator. Across the street they visit the new market as well as the Cuchifritos Gallery space. Students engage with vendors in short interviews to capture the history and demographics of those who invest in the Lower East Side market.
